2012 annual report

Today Streetohome launches our 2012 Annual Report. Read the report now. As part of our 10-Year Plan, we promised to measure and share our achievements with the community each year.

2012 was a busy year at Streetohome. We closed our first Capital Campaign, opened the first of our eight City Sites in partnership with the City of Vancouver and Province of BC, and helped launch Vancouver's first Rent Bank. We are making great progress.

There was more good news last week when Canada's national report card on homelessness came out. Homelessness has decreased by 66% in Vancouver since 2008, when Streetohome first started. We are proud to be a part of helping break the cycle of homelessness in our community. To learn more about what we've been up to, read the 2012 Annual Report.

With this post we are also launching our new blog today. The Streetohome blog will be a place to read about what's happening with our organization, but we also want to share stories from the community. There is an abundance of wonderful and innovative work happening in Vancouver to help people experiencing homelessness, and the community is making great strides in reducing and preventing homelessness. We want to share these stories with you. If you have something you'd like us to share, please contact us at info@streetohome.org.
