covenant house semi-independent housing program

covenant house vancouver's semi-independent housing

Streetohome Foundation supports Covenant House Vancouver’s Semi-Independent Housing Program for homeless or at-risk youth living with mental health and addictions issues. The program ensures that youth with mental health issues are effectively supported, giving them the stability and health required to access existing housing in the community. Youth are supported by a team of Covenant House staff and the Inner City Youth Mental Health Team. Trained and highly experienced staff help create a safe housing environment, and provide mental health and addictions evaluations, counseling and psychiatric support, addictions management counseling, and group activities that will help develop life skills.

Streetohome’s support of this innovative program is made possible through donations from Scotiabank and Bell Canada.
